Why is occasionwear returned so often?
Because shoppers hedge. They order two sizes, or two styles, knowing they will send at least one back, because the event date leaves no room for a second attempt. The product photo cannot tell them whether a floor-length gown will pool at their feet or whether a fitted bodice will close. So they buy insurance, and you process the return.
How does seeing it on yourself change the decision?
A shopper who sees the gown on their own body, at their height, with the neckline where it will actually sit, does not need to order the alternative. Spequlo generates that view from one photo, using your product images and description, so satin looks like satin and a structured bodice keeps its shape.
Can it tell them which size to order?
Yes. The shopper takes two guided photos, Spequlo estimates their measurements and matches them to your chart for that garment. The recommendation shows its reasoning, so a shopper between sizes can see why and decide. For a one-shot purchase, that reasoning is what makes the recommendation trustworthy.
Does it work for suits and tailoring?
Spequlo renders jackets, trousers and full looks, and the size recommendation uses the same measurement estimate. Structured tailoring keeps its line in the try-on; it will not show a bespoke fit, and it does not claim to.

- How long does setup take?
- For a Shopify store, an afternoon: install the app, enable the theme block, and the try-on button appears on product pages. Size charts are matched to products automatically. Other platforms use a script tag.
- What happens to shopper photos?
